Concept
+ This piece was created during my summer as an Art Director Intern at Tracy Locke under the supervision of Kevin Forister. Josh DuMond rendered the pieces in 3D to really bring the idea to life.
I was tasked with coming up with an interesting out of home ad for the launch of the new QLED 8K TVs under the umbrella concept of the Apollo 11 moon landing. I came up with the idea to give people the chance to experience the moon landing with the TV providing the perfect gateway into space.
To sell in the idea to the client, a college football version was created where someone can live their dream of doing their own end zone dance. A third option was rendered showing a winter scene which could be displayed during the holiday shopping season. Different hashtags were added to the backdrop so people could upload the photos and videos to social media and share their experience. These selfie booths are trying to show shoppers that Samsung's new QLED 8K TV's really can take you anywhere you want to go.
